In recent years CIPPEC has been boosting its international perspective and reach, working collaboratively with think tanks and other organizations from around the world in projects with regional and global scope and impact.
So one of the goals we set ourselves for CIPPEC’s 20th anniversary was to re-launch our Global Council (what a perfect year to do so!), made up of experts from various disciplines and countries, which will allow us to consolidate our work beyond borders.
In May of last year we held two (virtual) kick-off meetings, where its members shared with us their views on how the COVID-19 pandemic (which was only a novelty by then) would redefine the role of CIPPEC and the think tank community in the region and the world, and we discussed which public policy issues would have the greatest relevance and urgency in the post-pandemic world to help us inform our views on the policy responses in Argentina.
